"Lovely overnight stay"

We upgraded to a suite and we were not disappointed. Really lovely accommodation Only downside was the bed - it was in 2 parts with no top mattress!

Having had minor grumbles with reception and the restaurant service not up to scratch we discussed it with Slawek , the Guest Relations Manager. He responded to our concerns quickly and in the right manner. Top guy let down by one or two of his staff.

Wonderful one night stay. Welcoming staff, Champagne on arrival, a great meal that was excellent value and an empty pool in the breakfast too. Will book again!

The building itself is glorious with imposing architecture and public rooms. The location and extensive gardens right on the Thames were delightful. Our room was very comfortable with modern, high end facilities and an enormous bed with fine cotton bedding. The restaurant, service and food could not be faulted. The staff were clearly well trained and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was my 70th birthday and I was disappointed not be able to share it with family & friends due to Covid. However, the hotel still made it a memorable ocassion for me through their kindness and attention.
