Reviews for Danesfield House Hotel & Spa, Marlow, Buckinghamshire, SL7 2EY

Everyone was very helpful and friendly, had a great time.

It would be difficult to top the location with grounds that open out on to a view of the Thames. Service, room and food were all excellent. Our only quibble was the temperature inside the room which hovered around tropical and did not seem to respond to the controls inside the room. Thankfully the windows opened.

A good quality hotel doing its best to cope with the restrictions in place at the time of our visit, and only able to operate at half capacity. Our room was a good size with a four poster bed, armchairs and flatscreen TV. The bathroom was well equipped with a bathtub as well as a shower. All the appropriate Covid precautions were in place throughout. The place was very clean. We ate dinner in the restaurant twice. The cooking was fine but not special with the same set menu both evenings. So its the luck of the draw whether you can find enough things that you like. That said, it must be very difficult to manage this not knowing whether you'll need to shut down from one week to the next.

Extremely enjoyable stay staff fantastic location amazing extremely safe and hygienic stayed man times and never disappointed

All of the staff were extremely friendly and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. There was a high quality feel to the whole property. It was ideal for us celebrating my wife s big birthday. We will definitely be returning.
