I booked this stay to be relaxing plus romantic for me and my girlfriend. It was both and more. Would like to visit again. This is not just an excellent hotel but a magical place to get married too.

The hotel grounds are lovely and clean. The room we were given with the deal was big, clean and overlooking the nice grounds. The room is classical which goes with the ambience of the castle. The staff were very friendly and helpful although during dinner at the Dungeon restaurant the service seemed to be really slow and dinner took a long time to come along considering that the dishes were pre ordered at the library bar before sitting in the restaurant but nevertheless we did enjoy the dinner when it came, and the staff appeared confused about the tables they were serving. This did not bother us much as we were there for a relaxing overnight stay and weren't on a time constraint however it could be improved.
