Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only two areas for improvement. Patio seats in the sun were reserved for drop in visitors at lunchtime, guests had to sit in the shade, even if there were no visitors. Free car hire tied you in to Avis who levied a high charge to remove insurance excess. Better off not using it and booking independently. These two issues annoyed several other guests however should make clear overall a great deal.

Lovely intimate hotel on the quieter side of Jersey. Classical in style but with modern facilities.

5 star treatment from the moment we walked through the door. We were welcomed by Sofia who was excellent from the moment we met her. Very chatty with a bubbly personality who could not do enough for the guests. In the restaurant where we ate the food was excellent and the personality of the waiting staff shone through a special mention for Nelu (Mr Bond) and Alex who made our stay most enjoyable.
"Charming, pleasantly off the beaten track with first rate service"

This is a charming, shabby chic hotel, well furnished to resemble an Edwardian country house of the early part of the 20th century which ambience it succeeds in creating. I do not think that this hotel would be at all suitable for a family with children but is perfectly suited to more mature couples. The reason we have not rated the room as excellent, as it was very well furnished and comfortable, is that there was a slight lack of attention to detail. For example the drawers of the very nice chest were unlined and the shower head had not been tested and it leaked (the bathroom was very well appointed otherwise) and the room might have benefitted from a refreshing lick of paint around the window frames etc. We loved our stay there and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Nestled away in the North East of Jersey this remarkable hotel will offer the complete break which many of us yearn for.
