We ve now been five times to stay at Bowden Hall, taking different friends each time, and never been disappointed. The property and location is delightful and the standards are always kept very high. The staff are very welcoming and helpful, the bedrooms are well equipped and the food superb.

The Bowden Hall is in the countryside and can be a little tricky to find! The entrance is quite impressive and it looks a great place for a wedding. The receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The room was a bit of a distance from reception and had to go through hallways which were being decorated. The room was good. The dinner menu was interesting and varied and the service was good. And the wine list was good. The biggest disappointment was the dessert - a cheesecake which didn t taste of anything!

Location is very picturesque and the building is beautiful, this hotel could be amazing! Unfortunately it s very tired in need of an overhaul. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant is good with no complaints, the decor in the restaurant is stark and the lounge area is the same, it s such a shame because the building is amazing. The rooms are dated and need modernising.
