"A 55th wedding anniversary"

The staff are amazing, nothing is to much trouble, the fine dining was lovely very enjoyable, the hotel grounds are beautiful , our rooms. Was lovely complete with separate bath and separate shower, we also had a fabulous view from our room over the hotels garden.

A lovely hotel. Very comfortable and luxurious. Excellent service, great rooms and a stunning location. Food excellent but rather a small menu. Great breakfasts. Spa good but not exceptional, very relaxing though. My only gripe was the additional rather hefty service charges. The service was excellent but we had already paid a lot to stay there. Surely this could have been included.

Our double was upgraded to a suite with an excellent view of the gardens which was all very nice. The dining room very pleasant, the two restaurant managers very nice, some of the serving staff certainly not very friendly - our suppers were excellent but service a little slow, I had to ask how much longer for our desserts . We ordered a morning paper for one morning, but didn t arrive apparently hadn t been logged in there paper work. The pressing of a blouse was very satisfactory. All in all a very enjoyable stay.
