"Wonderful break"

Thoroughly enjoyed a two night stay at Ballathie House Hotel. Made very welcome and were upgraded to a larger room even though the one we started with was a really good size. Lovely and warm even if it was well below freezing and snow covered outside. Good walks around the hotel and wonderful to get back to four courses of fine dining each evening. Highly recommended

Location - Beautiful situation on the river Tay, giving access to many attractive walks. Room - Large and well appointed, with several windows giving views to the forest; an excellent shower and separate bath. Public areas - Very attractive and well furnished lounges and bar. Service - Excellent, friendly staff who were very helpful to tailor the menu to suit our needs. Food - Well presented, interesting items for both dinner and breakfast. Good, varied wine list.

We stayed in room 2 which was rather small but as I had requested a ground floor room this was all that was available.Room was clean and bed comfortable,adequate for 1night.
