"A lovely stay"

The reception staff were very friendly on booking in, everything was clearly explained. The room had a beautiful view of the garden and the river Tay. We couldn't get the TV to work as a radio, but we never asked for help with sorting it as we weren't that bothered. The dinner both evenings was spectacular, a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach. Not being a great drinker I found the soft drinks limited, but the desert wines on offer I was tempted by. Breakfast was self service buffet style which was fine as there was a lot of choice. Various dietary requirements can be accommodated.

Excellent value for money. Only problems - Were not made aware that a wedding was taking place when booked which meant the lounge was not available on the Friday afternoon and evening of day booked.

For a 4 star hotel breakfast was very disappointing, it was cold and there wasn't the choice you would expect from this level of hotel. Bar prices were extortionate, 12 for a Boe gin is a bit steep, especially when you have to buy an overpriced tonic to go with it. We have been many times but doubt if we will be back again, greed is getting the better of them.
